This is not my pattern.


Materials:
Approximately 14 oz. worsted weight yarn
Size G or larger hook
Starts at center of long, straight edge (neck).
Ch 6
Row 1:  2 dc in 4th ch from hook, ch 1, skip 1 ch, 3 dc in last ch, ch 3; turn.
Row 2:  2 dc in first dc, ch 1.  In next ch-1 space work 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc.  Ch 3, dc in top of turning ch, ch 3; turn.
Row 3:  2 dc  in first dc, ch 1; 3 dc in next space (shell), ch 1.  In center space work 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc (center inc).  Ch 1, 1 shell in next space, ch 1, 1 shell in turning ch, ch 3; turn.
Row 4:  With turning ch as first dc, work 2 more dc in first dc (inc shell); ch 1, 1 shell in each space to center space, ch 1, in center space work 3 dc, ch 1, 3 dc (center inc), ch 1 and 1 shell in each space to end, ch 1, 1 shell in turning ch (inc shell), ch 3; turn.
Repeat Row 4 for pattern until desired length is achieved.


Ruffle Border (pictured):



Row 1:  Sc evenly around all three sides.
Row 2:  On sides only, 2 dc in each sc.
Row 3:  On sides only, 2 dc in each dc
Row 4:  On sides only, sc in each dc around with a contrasting color.
