TOOTHLESS! Vietnamese Coffee With Me

OMG...I was so pissed that I forgot to put in my partial (with one tooth) before filming this!  LOL.  I look like a homeless person.  WHATEVER!  I'm 56 and can be toothless if I want!  It took me all freakin' day to make this video and I was NOT going to do it over again.  Deal with it.  Be kind.

If you can't see this video here on my blog, go to YouTube to watch:  https://youtu.be/XESt87vo3kw

Y'all go leave me a thumbs up please!  And let me know in the comments here if you enjoyed this.

Peace, Sistahs.

  1. Your Vietnamese coffee looked delicious. It's great the way everything is working out so well in your new home and new neighborhood. I enjoyed your video, and got a chuckle out of your forgotten tooth. That's real life, isn't it. The earrings your new friend made for you are very pretty.

I hope you will be making videos regularly.

  3. I love this Pammy Sue! I'm not a coffee drinker, but if I was that coffee looks delicious. And I do love your earrings. I collect angels, so I really like them. And I had to smile at your tooth. I sure wish someone around here had one of those homemakers clubs. Maybe I'll hitch a ride with your friend and surprise you someday. Ha ha! And now I'm going over to YouTube to like and give your video a thumbs up.
    Blessings, Betsy

  7. I love you video, it is like being there with you. And I wouldn't noticed your missing tooth if you haven't said anything about it. I am a tea drinker, but loved watching you make the coffee. I hope you do more vidoes, maybe with your dogs.

    1. Thanks, Karen! I thought about including a dog or two, but I decided not to this time. I had a hard enough time getting this done without that wild bunch! I'm sure it'll get easier and they will get their mugs on YouTube soon.

  8. Hi- Put a thumbs up and comment on your video. Sure was fun to watch. I did forget to mention a tip about not putting any lighting behind you when filming your videos. It washes out the main area. My all time fave video you've shared was the bear going up the tree and how excited you got. Thank you for sharing all your photos and videos. I can't praise your blog efforts enough. :) Blessings- Ren-in-Az PS- Love your crochet work!

    1. Hi, Ren! I could use all the help and tips I can get! My lighting was not good this time. I'll use brighter light facing me next time and get rid of the one behind me. I appreciate that. Thanks for reading and watching! XOXO

  9. I liked that video! That coffee looks really good. Sometimes I just need to make one cup, and I hate to make a whole pot, so that would be ideal for me. Thanks for your comments on social anxiety. I am in the same boat. In a few weeks I'll be going to a retreat for antique sewing machine collectors and I'll be doing a demo on an attachment. I never thought I could do anything like that, but once I forced myself to do it, it became easier and even fun. I love those earrings, too. What a sweet lady she is to give them to you. I'm glad you are so happy there. When hubby retires, we might consider a move.

  10. Loved this video and went and gave it a thumbs up! Forgot to subscribe so hope you'll remind us on your blog when you put up a video... They are fun to watch and loved seeing you "in person"!! I drink tea but the coffee looked so god and love the little ritual and taking your time.. I do that with tea sometimes.. brew a "real" cup and add some yummy creamer (natural of course) and sit and enjoy it slowly. Please do make more videos.. loved hearing your voice and it goes to show how far you've come, from being anxious about going out to a social gathering and worrying about how you look... to making a video with a missing tooth! See? you did it and wasn't it fun???? I wish we had a homemaker's group like that here in Madras.. that is what is so neat about a smaller town. I think you live in one of the best spots on this earth! Love... Marilyn

I always love seeing them. I am looking forward to future video from you. :) ((hugs) to you sweet friend. :)

  13. You had me at sweetened condensed milk! Ha! I'll bet a little cream would be good in there, too. Okay, did that candle make that BIG flame still? That's the biggest flame I've ever seen in a candle! Sounds of Silence is one of my all time favs. ;) You are adorable. blessings and hugs ~ tanna

  14. Oh my gosh I was enjoying your video so much I hardly noticed your tooth missing...Ok that was a lie but I did really enjoy the video.. the only thing I now feel stupider because I can't figure out how to edit a video and see you did! Not being a coffee drinker I bet this would be just as good with tea. So happy you and Ken are so happy...OK now tell me how you did the video!

    1. Cathy, I wish I could tell you I knew what I was doing, but I didn't! I don't know the first thing about editing a video! I used my husband's Samsung phone because I found out you can't pause a video while you're filming and then resume with an iPhone. The Samsung will let you do that, and that's exactly what I did. Otherwise, I just filmed the whole thing and didn't edit anything. It took forever to upload my video from his phone to my computer, and then it took forever again to upload the video to YouTube. I think there's a way to record a video directly from YouTube. I'm almost positive I have seen it. I'm going to check that out and see if I can do it that way next time...just record from my laptop. You can edit certain things using YouTube once you have your video uploaded, but it's very basic. So basically I flew by the seat of my pants! I'm going to have to find a video editing app to use if I want to start doing anything fancy, which I do. Thanks for watching! XOXO
