Nine More Inches - Videos

video

Turn the volume up so you can hear me.

What he's standing in is all new snow since yesterday.
It had been shoveled down to the sidewalk yesterday morning.

Ken imitating a dog. Hee.

**Some people have said they can't see the videos. If you can't, let me know and let me know what browser you are using too and whether it's a phone or iPad or regular desktop. If you can see them, please let me know the same info please.  I'm trying to figure out why some can't see them and others can. I researched Blogger's Help Forum and lots of people have the same problem, but Blogger hasn't figured out what the problem is or how to fix it. I can see them fine from my desktop computer and Ken can see them on his too.  However, I cannot see my own videos when looking at my blog from my iPhone.

I worked on my chocolate doily last night. Today I decided to make myself one of those cabled owl hats with the messy bun hole on top. I'm a few rows in. I think I can finish it today. I also want to make the matching fingerless gloves. Not sure if I can get all that done and post pictures tomorrow or not. We'll see.

To answer your questions...
YES, I still LOVE the snow!!

  1. Unfortunately none of your videos came through on my computer. But, seeing as I'm living the same thing, I think I can imagine! Ha ha! We actually received 16 inches at our house over the weekend when you added Saturday and Sunday's snows together. Yuck. I'm glad you still like it though. 57 years of living in winters with snow I've had enough. I'm looking forward to seeing your owl hat and mitts. Have fun!
    Blessings, Betsy

hi pammy sue...as betsy, in the first comment stated, none of the videos/photos came through...we are expecting a storm over the next three days...we are a bit weary of the snow, however, it is needed to replenish the water tables...i am presently working on projects from a leisure arts book..."kid's animal pillows" by tara cousins...purchased the pre-made pillows by fiber craft at walmart...quite cute...i, also, am looking forward to your owl hat and mitts...you always find the best projects to craft...as always thank you for sharing your life...blessings...take care...sally

  4. The video's of Ken are too funny, especially the dog digging one!
Might be time for Ken to purchase a snow blower. (That would make another funny video.)
Just like you I LOVE snow! We don't get nearly enough of the white stuff here in Oregon City. This year was the second time in the last 12 years I can remember ever getting enough snowfall to make a snowman.
How are the sweet pups of yours doing? Hope they're snuggly warm and in good health.
Take care and enjoy the snow.

  7. Hey beautiful! Yep, I could see all three videos on my laptop using the Chrome browser. I wasn't able to watch them on my android table using Chrome, but it also told me that the "plug-in is not supported"...what ever that means. I guess that means what ever application extension chrome needed for the video file type you used is not supported by Google Chrome. When I "right-clicked" on the video (I was going to download it and see what file type you are using to see if maybe you changed the type of video file you were saving it as might help) it did tell me it was using Adobe Flash Player. Can you maybe save the videos as .MP4 videos? Those should be iPad and iPhone compatible. Let me know if you do that and if that works. -The T

  14. Hi Pam .. Couldn't see the videos yesterday on my iPad but have now been able to see them on my desktop PC (Chrome browser). The snow looks amazing but I don't think I'd be able to cope with the cold. Glad we don't have snow here in Canberra - even though the snowfields are only an hour or so away from us. I just tried to see your videos on my iPhone and could see the frames but when I tapped to try to see the videos I got this message "Cannot Open Page - Safari cannot open the page because the address is invalid." Hope this helps you. BTW loved seeing Eli. xox

  17. I can't see the videos on my iPhone but can see the beautiful snow pictures. It has been so warm in Tennessee that no one has even worn the fingerless gloves I made them for Christmas! We would love to have a GOOD sledding snow here. Enjoy your stuff!! ; )

  19. I could see the videos just fine. Maybe tell people they have to go directly to your blog to see the videos.. you can't see them if you just view the post in your email inbox.. you have to pop over and be right ON the blog. Now that is more what I expected for your area! Oh yah! We had those big piles a few weeks ago, but they have dwindled alot.. got 4 more inches today but that's nothing now... I hope we have no more big storms here! I'm so DONE with snow! Looking forward to your chocolate fare... (my afghan not quite done and am having to work this week.. so that's my excuse!)... Marilyn

  20. Those are amazing videos. I can see them just fine on my laptop. I have never seen that much snow in person. In fact, here in Dallas County, we had the air conditioner going on Monday. HA!
