Ahhh, Minty Fresh!







Pattern Book:  Heirloom Afghans (See picture of book below)
Pattern:  Lacy Squares with Scalloped Edging by Anne Halliday
Square Count:  70 total, 10 squares long by 7 squares wide
Measurement:  58" x 40"
Yarn:  Red Heart Super Saver in Minty (4 skeins with some left over; I got 27 squares per skein)
Hook Size:  H

  10. Wow this is fantastic, I so wish you could visit and show me how to make it! I know the basics about crocheting but I cant read a pattern so I just make my own stuff you and you know that don't get you very far :)

  16. I can't BELIEVE you got this one done already! I'm flabbergasted! You must crochet night and day! It is so much more gorgeous in real life than in a picture. Was the border and those fill-in areas hard? I had a hard enough time just trying to make one of the squares (sad isn't it?). I'm still struggling with my 8 inch squares that I'm (trying to) making for a baby. I can't seem to keep the edges even.. they flare out and then back in so they're wavy. Maybe that's why I like the granny squares best, as no edges to try to keep straight. Gr.r.r.r.r.r.r. I had to tear out a square last night about 3 times.. and finally am doing a different one. This baby blanket may not get done until the baby is a year old! The border on the one you made is simply stunning. Marilyn xoxox
