A Talking Dog Among Other Things

I found Eli wrapped up in some curtain panels I had just opened.
He was stuck. Ha.
I immediately thought of that movie, The Conjuring.
Remember the ads for it?...

Very similar and VERY creepy!

Pumpkin Pie.
It was ugly, but it was so good!

video
I've been teaching Ollie to say "Momma" and "I Love You, Momma."
He really does try and has gotten better and better.
He can have anything he wants!

I made two more pairs of fingerless gloves.
Only the buttons are different.

This one can also have anything he wants.
He doesn't have to say a word.

It snowed again overnight. We just got back from taking a walk in the snow. We got around 3 inches, same as last time. Pictures next post.

See ya.

  2. Cute pictures of your puppies. And that pumpkin pie is not ugly, it looks delicious to me. Is it still snowing at your house? It's still coming down here, but it's melting as it hits the ground. The grass has about 2 to 3 inches on it, but the streets are just wet. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving Pammy Sue!

  4. Your pumpkin pie looks delicious.

Such a cute video! I did hear him say "I love you", with the word love drawn out and accentuated. He was trying so hard to say everything just right. I laaaaved it!

    Have a great Thanksgiving!

  5. I just showed the video of Ollie to my husband--he could hear it too. Our little Fuzzy Pomeranian was there with us listening and is now seriously jealous. I played it again, just for Fuzzy to hear and he was so happy about it. He definitely understood what Ollie was saying.

  8. Poor Eli - hope you didn't get cross with him for messing up your curtain. Good to see a picture of you Pam - looking good girl! For some reason I felt funny when I saw the photo of Tony's with the cliff behind it - reminded me of a setting for an old horror movie. Crazy huh ? Ollie is such a clever little fellow - loved the video. xox

  9. Wishing for you a happy and blessed Thanksgiving in your new place. If you run out of things to be thankful for, look out your window. Wow. Beautiful scenery. Your pie looks good, sometimes mine don't look so pretty, but the taste and goodness it's in there. God Bless.

  10. I don't know the movie but we had a similar situation yesterday: My parent's cat was hiding under the (transparent) curtain and was hunting birds from inside the house...

    Take care

  14. Such precious doggies. So happy to see them again. Ugly pumpkin pie is the best. It has no calories and you don't feel bad at all about diving in, right? However, it didn't look ugly to me. It looked dang good.

  16. There's nothing quite like walking in the snow. Everything is so quiet and still. I love it!
Your pup-dogs are not only cute but they're all very talented, too. One's a movie actor and one can speak. They're each to precious.
Love your fingerless gloves & those buttons are very pretty.
I haven't seen you make anything that was ugly - including that yummy pumpkin pie. After all, like my husband says. It never matters what a food looks like as long as it's tasty! And you should see some of the things I've made! (smile)
Take care and have a very nice Thanksgiving!

  18. First off, that was a GREAT Ollie video--made me smile! Your gloves are beautiful--love the yarn you chose! The pie looked so much better than the one I bought for our Thanksgiving---the one that may not make it to TDay, now that you have me craving pumpkin:)
    Have a great Thanksgiving! Enjoy.
    BLessings,
