Morning Bike Ride

Let's go!

He enjoyed every minute of it.

We rode across that bridge and back.

I could have sat right here all day!

An eagle!

Ignore my lovely, straight-out-of-bed hair!

The water was murkier than usual this morning.

When we got home, we sat in the backyard and had coffee, cantaloupe, bananas, and peaches for breakfast.

See ya!

Shame that the beautiful view is clouded by those terrible fires. Sure do hope they get it under control soon!!

  4. Be still my heart. Your first photo of Ollie in the bike basket is so darn cute. He is such a sweetie pie.
I'm sorry you all in Washington are having a ton of fires. We're having them to here in Oregon. It's just so darn dry this year and with lightening strikes, cars backfiring, etc. It takes very little for a fire to start. You all & those pup-dogs be safe.
I so enjoy your adventures. And the photo's you take are so enjoyable. Is Ollie the only one that likes bike rides? You need one of those enclosed bike trailers that attach to your bike. Then you could take the whole gang for a ride . . . LOL
You sure have been busy in the kitchen. Love seeing what you've made. Yummy!!!
    Take care and be safe.

  7. That Ollie has it made, you need to make a pretty padded liner just to put in the basket on the days you take him out for a ride. I noticed what pretty smooth river stones along the edge of your river. They would be perfect for doing some crochet doily covers. Those always make neat paper weights. Been a lot in our news about those 3 brave young men who lost their lives fighting the fire. I hope the 4th one who is in the hospital pulls through his burns. So very sad for the families. Hope you get the rain they are saying you guys might get this weekend.
