My Life Since I Got Home

Throwing tons of things away.

Packing things.

Oh my God, the yarn!

Cleaning things.

Drinking coffee.

Talking to realtors.

Signing papers (it's electronic signing these days!)

Planning.

Dreaming.

Lying awake at night.

Sweating my ass off.

Looking at pictures of the new house over and over.

Throwing more things away.  Where did I get all this stuff?

Drinking more coffee.

Thanking God I'm such a lucky, lucky girl.

Staging the house to show.

Buying lots of boxes, tape, and big Sharpies.

Buying BIG trash bags and filling them.

Looking at maps.

Did I mention throwing things away??

Still doing my regular job in between all of it.

I'm pooped with no time for regular blogging.

Love ya.  See ya.

  5. Oh Pam, I really don't envy you! Having moved house many times in my earlier years, I know what a huge job packing, unpacking etc. is but then of course you get to enjoy a lovely new home which kind of makes up for it all. Anyway, hope all goes well for you. Are the puppies excited about the idea of having new territory to explore? Hugs, xox

  11. You are doing great on the move. I need to move just to get all the saved treasures from 4 grown children and a collecting husband scaled down. You will be so organized when you move in to the new home.

  22. My hubby and BIL made fun of all my sewing and yarn plastic bins that I packed for our recent move from PA to OH. I had a lot. And boxes too. All is unpacked but not put away in the new home. You do look very organized. And your new town is beautiful. It looks like the NW which is quite a change for a TX gal. What an exciting adventure for you and the Captain. Can't wait to see more. We are so glad our move is behind us. And our old home closed 11 days ago. It will take awhile to settle in...we still have a storage unit here to empty. Good Luck with your move.
