Weekend Pics

Cute Heart Pin made by Betsy Q.

Nail Polish Colors:
Petal Pushers
Sugar Daddy

Painted on the wall at an antique shop.

I spent most of Saturday sitting right here.

Antique wood clothespin purchased on Etsy.
I'm using them as bobbins for my yarn colorwork.
I have nothing to show because all I did was make a big ol' mess.
I need lots of practice.

Yes, I'm going to get mileage out of my letter blocks.

Super-Easy!
Super-Light and Delicious!

See ya.

  1. The cake looks really good. I wonder what if would be like with some chocolate used somehow (like a mounds candy bar). Your new project looks really neat and I can imagine will take a lot of patience with all those bobbins and colors. Love the photos of your pup (not sure which one) soaking in the sun's warmth. Have a great day Pammy Sue, Heather

  5. There's your pink doily! And I also see I'm not the only one who's enjoying soaking up the sun this weekend. I can't wait to see what you make with all of your color work Bobbins. I think I'm going to move in with you with all that good cooking you do. The cake looks wonderful.
    Blessings,

  6. You just started kniting and already stepping out on stranded color work??? I feel so inadequate now. I've been at the knit going on 5 years, and have yet to learn the chart reading (it is NOT like crochet chart reading.) *sigh* my craft-ego just took a major hit. I bow to your knit-mojo.

  18. Pammy Sue...you aren't going to believe this....but my Mom made me the SAME cake for my birthday! It was to die for good! I licked my plate!!! Question, did you add a can of Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk to the Coco Lopez? She did. It was elegant and gooey, and there wasn't a crumb leftover!!!
Love your blocks, and your clever use of the cherries for your apostrophe!
Love the saying on the wall you took a photo of too.
Be sweet. Maybe I will talk to you later today?
