Knitted Bracelet & Salisbury Steak Recipe

I knitted this icord wrap bracelet in about three hours, and I'm super-slow at knitting. It was fun!

Pattern:  Rustic iCord Wrap Bracelet by Elizabeth Murphy (bought on Etsy)
Yarn:  Premier Sock Yarn in Color "Utah" (Held double)
Needles:  Two U.S. Size 3 (3.25 mm) dpns
Button:  Wooden 3/4"

When I purchased the pattern, I also bought a mini-skein of her yarn and a button, but I couldn't wait so I went ahead and made one. I'll make another using her yarn and button when it gets here later this week. And then I'll probably make another and another and another!

The Captain got this recipe from one of his buddies at work. It was SO GOOD! We had it with mashed potatoes, corn, and green beans. Delish! I hope you try it.

We're supposed to get another 2-3 inches of snow overnight. We have about an inch of sleet right now. Yippee! We made a grocery run and a run to Hobby Lobby so we're set to stay in and stay warm.

See ya.

  3. That recipe looks good - bet they tasted good too ! I LOVE the colour of your sweater - such a gorgeous red. The bracelet looks great with it too. I-cords are fun to make aren't they? So easy too. I like them on top of baby hats - about 4-5 inches long and tied in a knot - looks cute. Must remember that next time I make Oliver a hat. Have fun with your bracelets. xox

It's sleeting again right now here in DCc. The snow should begin anytime. 4-9 inches. Oh goody. This entire trip has been snow, sleet and ice. But I have Piper so I'm happy. Stay safe and warm.
    Blessings,
    Betsy

  7. Hi Pammy Sue. Your bracelet turned out great and the color is really pretty (fall colors are my favorite). The recipe sounds good too. I enjoy seeing all the wonderful things you create. We got more snow in OH yesterday and last night; though not as much as they expected. Have a great day, Heather

  18. Your bracelet is really cool! I love stuff like that, the more strands the better. The recipe sounds awesome. I used to love these frozen salisbury steaks my mother made when I was a kid. They were soooo salty and probably terrible for you, but it was one of my favorite meals!
