Cozy Tuesday At Scotty's Place

I'm going to town on this knitting like I know what I'm doing.
Learning something new every day and lovin' it.
This project on the needles now is quite ambitious.
Can't wait to show you in a few days!

We're all snuggled by the fire.

I had to put this little sweater on hold.
I ran out of yarn with only half a sleeve done.
The pattern didn't give yarn amounts needed. Grr.
And wouldn't you know it?
It's from slow-ass Knit Picks!
It's futile to try and stash bust. It can't be done!

Cold Day, Hot Drinks

New flavor of cream cheese to have with our morning Everything Bagel.
 It's good.

My little Ollie-Wally.
He's resting his head on Sammi's back.
Those two are snuggle buddies.

I hope you have a snuggle buddy today.
Dogs work really well.
See ya.

  1. You go girl! Love that you are trying switching colors, and oh what pretty colors they are! Hate when I run out of yarn. I'm holding my breath now on that brown color I am trimming my color stripes in. I might not have enough to trim out the entire edge of the afghan. I am so thinking I will NOT go buy more yarn, so what to do now!

  2. I knew you'd get the hang of knitting! Are you doing it Continental style? That's sweet that the dogs cuddle. Sorry you ran out of that yarn as that is an awfully cute sweater! Bacon flavored cream cheese? Sign me up! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  4. Oh boy, look at you go with your knitting! Now I'm curious to know what you're making. It's addictive isn't it Pammy Sue? I miss having little Sophieto cuddle with me. Chloe is kind of big and she doesn't like to cuddle anyway. And finally...anything bacon is good in my book. I love bacon! Have fun.
    Blessings,

  8. Way to go Ollie .... warmth from the fire and also warmth from Sammi !! Pam, that little sweater looks nice - are you going to divulge where to get the pattern? Your knitting is amazing - are you sure you haven't done it before? I think 'wearables' look better in knitting and also drape better than in crochet. Softer for babies too. Crochet is still my favourite though - I'm better at it and you can make so many beautiful things. xox

  11. You go, girl!! I'm loving that color combination! And, can't wait to see your finished project. It really peeves me to run out of yarn on a project, especially when it is not a quick fix to remedy it! Onward ho! blessings ~ tanna

  14. What is it on the needles? Love the yarn. Bummer to run out of yarn. That is such a pain!! Loved reading through the last toe posts! Cozy couch sitting, fire roaring, piles of pups by you, hot drink within reach. Nice!!
I think Janie has the right idea, taking the big bed all to herself!!
I saw your phone sitting there and chuckled as I imagined us with our texting sessions back and forth.
    Stay warm.

  15. oh...my...GOSH! bacon cream cheese? whoever came up with that idea should be on the cover of Time and given a Peace Prize or something. I mean, bacon. next to spiral cut honey ham, there's nothing better, how bad can it be with bacon.

Yea!!! on the knitting. I lurve it. Crochet will always be my first love, but knit...I want to be as good at knit as I am at crochet. That's my dream.

  16. Very nice and cozy. I have a cat, which works just as well only if she were better behaved and used her claws a little less.
