Update: That Pie

I thought I should pop on and tell y'all that if you make that Amish Crazy Quilt Pie from my last post, it is only good if eaten the day you make it at room temperature. After it's refrigerated, it's kind of dried out on top and not nearly as good, even if you have it covered with plastic wrap.

There was no comparison between when I had a piece last night (so good!) and today after refrigeration (kind of yuck).

  2. That picture made me so hungry for Mom's Sugar Cream Pie I had to make it tonight

    The crust burnt (damn electric oven) but the inside will be like heaven.
