The Nordic Shawl is Done



FINALLY!
I procrastinated finishing this one for weeks.
Sheesh!

Pattern:  Nordic Shawl
Size:  HUGE...I followed the pattern numbers but used larger yarn
Yarn:  Caron Simply Soft, Off White
Yarn:  Snowflake from Hobby Lobby, *Creamcicle & Crocus
*I believe these colors are discontinued
Hook:  Size H

    And I swear...you crochet the most beautiful edgings. I am only now learning them and so appreciate how they show off the completed piece.

  13. It's beautiful! I really like the colors, especially the body of the shawl done in the creamy white color.
    I know mine felt like it took forever too, couldn't wait to get to the color part.

    Yes, why do we procrastinate and drag our feet to finish some things? I'm exactly the same. I have projects that only need a couple of more hours to finish and still I leave it untouched for weeks before I take the leap. Maybe it is connected with some type of separation anxiety.... Not wanting to finish the great book we are reading... Not wanting to see te last episode of a great tv series... Not wanting to finish an enjoyable crochet project... Well, you did it and yo did it well. Very nice orange color theme with the creamy white. Looks fabulous.
