The Forever Potholder

Potholder Made With Thread
Double-Thick (2 sides made, only one embroidered)

It took FOREVER.
At least 12 hours by my rough calculations.

Thread:  Aunt Lydia's #10 Cotton
Hook:  Size 1.65 mm
Embroidery:  Triple strand of Aunt Lydia's thread

I've been sitting here about 15 minutes just staring at the screen. I guess I've got nothin' to say!  See ya.

  12. It's definitely in the vintage style which I love. Sounds like an interesting book. I like your rain barrel by the way. What a great idea. We've been in a drought up here in North Texas. Everything is dry and crusty. Hasn't been much of a Spring. In bad need of rain. Have a great day.

When I was a teenager, I made myself a summer tank-top in a similar technique.
