I made this bread this afternoon.
I took these pictures when it was still hot, so the chocolate chips were melty and kind of took over the picture, but you get the idea. The pictures would look much better if I had let it cool first. This is SO GOOD!
I can't find the recipe I used on Pinterest now or I'd just copy and paste it here, but here is a link to a similar recipe. The recipe I used only had 2 1/2 cups of flour and called for butter instead of shortening: Banana Split Bread
I know you are shocked because I am so refined in every other way (ha), but I love bologna! This jalapeno bologna is out right now and I'm loving it. I grew up eating bologna and still love it. I'll eat it any old way you want to fix it on a sandwich -- plain, mustard, mayo, Fritos smashed into the bread, fried, whatever.
