Blue Buddha Say, Scrap It!

This hurts just because of the time I put into it already...

Really. Hate. It.
I've ripped out the colored part and started over with different colors once.

It didn't help.
I still don't love it.
It's the blue. I don't like the blue!

It pains me to do it, but...

I must listen to the Blue Buddha.
(No relation to Blue Shawl)
Buddha say, "She who make ugly blue shawl must scrap it and start over."
 Buddha say, "Don't settle."
Buddha say, "Make yourself happy girl. Scrap it!"

It is done.
I've started over.

Thank you, Blue Buddha.

  1. LOL I do the same thing if I don't LOVE it I scrap it. Rip away girl! (I find it pretty, just saying)

  2. You'll feel much better when it's all ripped out! :)

  3. Life is too short to make something you don't love doing! :)

  4. Oh I've been there and also ripped things, BIG things out. I always feel better afterward. I'm glad you listened to your blue Buddha. :-)

  5. What a shame, It's a pretty blue but if you don't like it and you weren't happy you did right by scrapping it. :)

  6. Gotta rip it out sometimes. I am making my daughter a large wrap that I swear looks like an adult baby blanket. She'll probably get it anyway. Should I make a pair of adult booties to match it? LOL

We must always walk the path of least or make-do and smile. :o)

Can't wait to see your next one.

  7. It looks nice in the photo but I've felt that way many times over a project. I hate it when that happens.

  8. Noooooo.... Its lovely.. But you are the one who has to love it... Can't wait to see what you are making with it :))

  9. If you're just not feeling it, then you must rip. I started mine over after row 30 to change the hook size. I changed the colors around several times too.
If you want to wear it, you gotta love it. Can't wait to see the next one!

  10. I'm not a fan of the color blue, either, but I do like it! Do what makes you happy!!! :)

  11. Awww don't frog it - I think it looks lovely. xox

  12. I hate scrapping stuff too, especially when you think of all the time spent on it. I love the blue though, my very favorite color. Hope you figure out what to do next. (((HUGS))) Susanne :)
