Made a Hat

I made the brim two stitches wider because I have a big forehead.

Other than that, I followed the pattern.

Rolled the brim in this picture.

Pattern:  Trinity Hat Beanie (Free!) on Ravelry HERE
Yarn:  I Love This Yarn from Hobby Lobby, Cranapple Stripe
Hook:  I and J

  2. Our poor trees are "naked" already . . . and the cold "breezes" are coming in off Lake Erie . . can winter be far behind.

You made a nice pom pom . . mine are either to sparse or to full :(

    Like the hat.

  3. Your hat is gorgeous - nice pattern and awesome colours. The trees look very pretty but I suppose they're going to lose those leaves soon. Our trees are looking nice and green again and I think wel'll be getting some good fruit this year.. Have a great week. xox

  5. What a pretty hat! I always feel like such a dork in hats! And I always think "this one will be different" and then...the dork appears! I REALLY like this one you've made! Great colors.

  6. Love the hat PS!!! I like it with wide brim, and rolled too. I need to get over my fear of hat making!
That tree is so beautiful. What kind is it?
We are having our first fire of the season. I am plopped down right in front of it!!

  7. Your hat is beautiful! I love that colorway, I've never seen it at HL before I don't think. I'll have to pick up a skein for myself, those are my kind of colors. :)

  9. I agree, that hat you made is far better than the one you passed up at the store. I really like the color yarn you used too. My trees are about bare now. I spent all day Saturday out with the push mower mulching up the leaves. I put the bagger on the push mower and it sure beat all that bending over a million times to pick up the raked leaves. I got smart after I had 6 huge bags filled. The big mower won't fit in the inner fenced in area. The gates are too small....ugh!

  13. The hat looks awesome! The trees are so pretty. We've lost almost all our leaves in KY because of the cold and wind storms, but they were pretty for a little while.

    Blessigns always
