Bath Time!

Seriously?

It takes work to be as beautiful as me.

Are we done yet?

I want a blow-out!
Where's the dryer?

Gah! That's cold!

Blind girls get dirty too.

Put the damn camera down and get me a towel.

Mmm...tasty!

That kinda feels good!

Ollie-Wally is squeaky-clean!

You're drowning me!
Sammi always thinks we're going to kill her.

Gasp!

You owe me three cookies for that.

We have a house full of clean dogs. Believe it or not, they were all happy about getting their turns. Fletch was first, but I didn't have my camera out yet. That's why you see no pictures of him, but he's clean too.)

  1. Awwww I miss our doggies. I hear Ollie saying "hey Mom .. Why can't I get done in the laundry tub where there is warm water?"

  3. You are a good puppers mom to give them such good baths. My Buddy needs a bath.. he has been spending more time outside with our 2 little guys and he eats slugs! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  5. Lots of baths! Our Chloe had a bath on Thursday too. She always looks like I'm punishing her. But then she gets lots of treats after it's all done. :-)

  6. What a clever idea to do them on a table top with holes for water to drop through. I bet that saves the back! My two were supposed to get bathed today too, but the day got away from us. Now we are up in Big Bear! Maybe this week. They are kind of smelly! Cute looking, clean doggins' there!!

  7. My dog runs the other way when the word bath is even mentioned...He is 125 pounds so it is just easier to take him to someone else to do it for me...I am so lazy. But my house is drier, and my dog is clean..whatever it takes. You take great pics by the way.

  8. Good grief that's a lot of dog washing! I bet they all smell good and feel soft and fluffy. My big Lab hates the water and runs the other way when we turn on the hose. What a chicken.

  9. Too cute :-) I love small dogs. It's a whole different story when we bathe our 80 pound beast.
    Blessings :-)

  10. My doggies go tomorrow to the groomers. Bath time around here is done in the bathtub and it just about kills me bending over that tub. One of mine loves the bath, the other isn't too happy about it. Then the blow drier comes out and I am constantly having to re-adjust the dogs because they are all over the tub. Let the groomer have all the fun, the expense is well worth it to me. besides, she can clip their nails and I hate doing that. They just don't hold still for me!!! I saw your last post about your doily, awe, don't be so hard on yourself. the nice thing about spilling your guts to other crocheters is that not one of us hasn't walk in your shoes on that one. How frustrating it is to get that far and realize there was a mistake way back near the beginning. Sometimes I think I spend more time unraveling than I do crocheting. Have a great week.
