Pineapple Table Runner

Thar She Blows!!

I say that because this was a whale of a crochet project, at least for me! I know that's really corny to say, but it's the first thing that occurred to me when I pulled up the pictures on my computer. And everyone knows I say whatever is in my head (most of the time) without censoring, so corny is what you get today.

I must thank my friend, Vikki, at ByHooks4U for her help with this one. Her blog is where I saw this table runner to begin with, and she helped me work out some problems with the pattern when I first got started. I referred back to a picture of one she made many times while making this. She's a very talented thread crocheter. Go check out her amazing things!

Pattern Source:  Pineapple Perfection Doilies, Annie's Attic
I used #10 white thread and a size 1.75 mm hook (both bigger than the pattern calls for)
Mine blocked to 31.5 inches by 11 inches.

Now what am I gonna make?
I think I'm ready for some yarn!
Happy Weekend!

  14. It looks very beautiful and very, very hard. I am not so sure I could do that many rounds without totally screwing up. I wonder what it would look like in a thinnish cotton yarn?
