Granny is Out of the Closet

I'm working on my pink and linen granny-type blanket again. I need to think of a better name than that for it. I still really like it and have been enjoying working on it since Friday. The Cap is working 12-hour days since Friday and I've been bored out of my mind and eating sugar galore. GAH. I'm trying really hard not to do that today. Today will be a healthy eating day.

I saw both of these colors of Vanna's yarn in a clearance bin at two different H.L. stores. I wonder if they are discontinuing them? I'm pretty sure I have plenty of both of them to finish though.

My cantaloupe are growing strong and healthy.
I'm shocked.
Too bad I can't grow Cheez Its.

Sayonara.

  1. You crack me up....Cheez Its, funny.
Now that granny is different with a pretty border around each one. What you got up your sleeve to fasten the blocks all together? This should be interesting. Guess we will have to wait till the next installment post. I sure hope you have enough yarn to finish it. Better to have too much than having to deal with the other frustrating route. We have another pretty day here. I worked in my yard yesterday and today my hands are killing me. I went to bed at 3am and up before 7, then back to bed and shamefully got up much later. Let's just say, it was brunch time, lol, oh well, it is Sunday, might as well make it a complete day of rest, right!

  2. Your cantaloupe plant looks like it is thriving and your blanket is very pretty. I like the soft colors. The pink has a salmon tint in the pictures. Hope you have a wonderful day. Heather

  15. Nice colours for your Closet Ghan !!!! I'm still stuck here in hospital- 8 days now and today is the first time I've been able to sit in a chair. Did 3 rows of crochet- like the baby blanket you recently made but my head went fuzzy so now I'm playing on my iPad catching up on some blog reading. xoxox
