The Captain's Treasure

He made his first "real" find this morning metal detecting...

A sterling silver necklace from James Avery!
I looked it up because I recognized it as a James Avery piece.
I found it on their website HERE.
Very cool, El Capitan!

My sister gave me and my momma a vase of these beautiful hydrangeas she grew. Aren't they gorgeous? I've had them since last Sunday and they are still just as pretty as the first day. Thanks, Sister!

Stay tuned for a crochet reveal on Monday!

  1. The necklace is just perfect. Beautifully simple.

And the flowers. Oooh. The flowers. You have a lovely sister to gift you with such beautiful blossoms.

    Have a lovely weekend.

  2. To bad for the person who lost it. Not a cheap thing to be losing!! But, congrats to you for the wonderful find!! Love the flowers. Mine have not started blooming yet this year. Hope they will soon so I can bring some in the house.

  3. Wow great find..Love the flowers that is my favorite flower.

  4. Now how did you know I have been looking for a cross necklace, LOL. I guess I need to go out and get a metal detector and get in on some of the fun finds out there. I use to know a guy who dd that. He found all sorts of things and mainly coins and rings. I say you buy yourself a cute little jewelry box. Next time he is out looking he might just bring back something for you! the flowers are so pretty. My favorite colors.
    Have a great weekend,
    Susanne ♥

  5. If I had lost a necklace, I would want someone wonderful to find it and love it. I think The Captain was in the right place at the right time.
Looking forward to the big reveal.
    Hugs and Happy Weekend,

  6. I love the necklace!! How fun. Now tell him to go find you a big diamond ring!!!
Can you believe, that out of all the things I grow, I cannot, for the life of me, get a hydrangea to survive here!!! Beautiful!!
    XO Kris

  7. Yay for the Captain !! Nice find. Those flowers are very pretty - wish people would bring me flowers (other than birthday & Mother's Day time) - such a lovely, thoughtful thing to do. What are you finishing off now ?? Look forward to your reveal. Have a good weekend. xox

  8. Score one for the Captain! Pretty flowers, I wish I had those in my yard. Can't wait to see what you have crocheted.

  9. Very cool find by "the Captain". Now you'll just have to look up St. Theresa and find out about the person the cross is supposed to symbolize.

That Peach Ambrosia pie looks yummy!
