Rag Rug Update

I'm having a good time and learning a few things I'll do differently next time. It's at 20 inches across right now. Still a ways to go. Sure wish I had found exactly the colors I wanted, but these will do for a learning experience and first run at it. I'm looking forward to standing on it with my bare feet when it's done!

It's always fun to learn something new.

    Happy Weekend and blessings, too.

  2. Hey! It would look GREAT in my guest bath. Does it make your hands sore to crochet with the heavier stuff?

Thanks for your sweet note. All is well. Am finally back up. Big hugs!!!!! (You sweet thing!)

  7. Rag rugs are a wonderful skill to know.. they make great rugs and last forever! They might even be better after a wash and dry.. tightening up and all.. but I've never made one. We head off tomorrow for the beach for my birthday.. fun fun! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  8. I made a heart shaped rag rug when they were popular in the 80s. I still have it........ in a box in the garage since its the wrong colors for me right now. Maybe someday I will bring it out again!

Yours is coming along nicely :)

  13. Hi Pammy, I have some questions..like how many sheets did it take, how wide did you cut your strips, how did connect them, how do you start it and increase to keep going around...or do I need to just go get a book or search the internet? I love it...

  16. That's looking real good Pammy Sue. Is it done in single crochet? How many T shirts has it taken for the 20" ?
