Done, Done, Done!

Pattern:  Warm Wishes Afghan from Vanna's Favorite Gift Afghans
Yarn:  Vanna's Choice in Beige & Toffee, ILTY in Toasted Almond
Hook:  Size K
Pattern Changes:  I added a row of sc along each side. Pattern just had it left plain which looked unfinished to me. I chained 123 to begin. Measures 35" x 50". I also used a bigger hook and my own colors. The pattern colors were two shades of blue with ecru.
Satisfaction Level:  Very happy! This was a super-simple pattern, but the color changes made it more difficult. You definitely need to sew in your ends as you go or in chunks. I stopped to sew mine in every 30 rows or so.

This one is a stunner. You know....it could actually make me find a hook. Not pick it up yet, as I have to shovel to leave for jazz. But actually find it, which is half the battle here as all that stuff has been put away. This is a great one. I have to look to see if you put the link in a post.....

Gorgeous Pammy Sue. I've always admired that pattern when I look through that book. I really like the shades of brown, very subtle and elegant. Happy Friday! Heather

Love the color combo you chose. I have the same book and have made a couple of her patterns. Haven't tried this one yet. Might just have to give it a go. Thanks for the inspiration. I see your puppy standing next to the new blanket I can just hear her saying oh mommy made a new one just for me...lol

Wow you're fast! There must have been smoke coming out the back of your hook! This is a great pattern. The colors remind me of a cafe latte or rocky road ice cream (I'm craving like a b*#ch right now, can you tell?)
Anyway love your blanket, must check out the book. Vanna is a rock star.
