It's a White Christmas In Texas

I took these pics and video about an hour after it started snowing.  It's much deeper now and still coming down.  YAY!  I love snow!

These pics of my nieces and nephew were taken yesterday at Christmas brunch at my sister's house.

This is a short video of Fletch & Eli playing in the snow.
They love it.
So much like children!

We are waiting for the Captain to get home from work to have our Christmas. The dogs all have a package under there, and we decided to buy gifts for each other this year. I'm making sausage and bean soup for dinner. He should be home by 5:00. I'm sure the snow will slow him down.

I hope you all had a nice Christmas Day and it continues into the evening.

Merry Christmas!

  1. So happy someone is having a white Christmas. We are cold and just gray here. But, enjoying a quiet day before the next party tomorrow. Have a relaxing evening with the Cap.

  2. A white Christmas! you lucky thing! Ours was hot and steamy but today is better. Parked in front of the TV with a couple of DVDs for the day and left-overs for those who haven't eaten enough!!!
    Have a Merry Christmas.

  5. What is the snow covering in the 2nd picture form the top?

Indy runs like your two do when it snows . . it's like it brings out the puppy in her.

  6. Oh wow, Lovely white snow.... we had more of a dingy muddy gray kind of day. Pretty much matched my mood. Maybe the Captain is right? Perhaps the Peas? If you find a good recipe for Black-eyed peas, I'd love a share.

    Have a Blessed evening

  7. Paula, that is my beloved giant rosemary in the front flowerbed! I love that thing. Actually, it's two plants that grew together.

  12. How grand! My Pups are also enjoying this snow... yep it is here in Indy too. Love your tree. My favorite was a red one we had a few years ago. Was hoping to get a after Christmas sale on one today, but I guess I will need to online as we are snowed in.
Love to you Ms Pammy Sue♥
