No Eye-Rolling Allowed

Don't you love this?  I first saw it on Pinterest and then on Flickr.  It was made by riavandermeulen.  I keep going back and looking at it.  I even went to her etsy shop where it's for sale and was so close to buying it.  But then I figured why buy it when I can make it myself?

So I dug out all my Deramore's Lucy Pack dk yarn and my F hook and started it yesterday.  The ripple pattern was easy to figure out, and I think the flower border will be easy to figure out too, but someone gave a link to a YouTube video for a similar border in the Flickr comments.

The Deramore's yarn is perfect for this.  I'm using white instead of off-white as the base color, and mine is bigger at 52 inches wide.

My plan for today is to sit in front of the TV watching Celebrity House Hunting and crocheting on this.

So, yes, I started yet another project.  I see you rolling your eyes at me!

My eyes aren't rolling at all!...I 'feel ya!' ^_^ Crocheting makes my mind and hands move like that too!

It's looking good and the colors are so "cool" in 2 ways if you know what I mean. You can do it, you can do it, you will finish it! Take care...

that will be beautiful..I like the pattern and your idea of off white suits me better..looking foward to seeing the finished product. I too am going to grab a hook and just sit and hook all day long as it is too hot to even think about going outside. Blessings

We got new exercise equipement today. Recumbent bike for me and a treadmill for Scott. I'm in charge of the pieces as we put this together. However, the treadmill will be delievered and put together for us.

Kate just had to bring up that "f" word, now didn't she!?!? "Finishing" Ack, I HATE finishing! Especially the big projects! It's much more fun to start them all and leave them around for a different day. The day comes eventually...just no telling when! Doesn't it? Please tell me it comes along in this lifetime...ok?

P.S. I like your current WIP!

I like the edging on this one too. The photo is from Flickr but there was no pattern link. I googled "little flower edging" and found a video that seems to be a duplicate. I used it in my Rose Garden throw and posted a link to the edging video. Your throw is going to be a beauty.

What a gorgeous pattern - I can fully understand why you had to grab your hook straight away. I've been thinking of doing Lucy's "Neat Ripple" ghan but now I've seen this one I just might have to change my mind. Have fun and keep crocheting xoxox

I wouldn't dare roll my eyes ... I'm thinking of starting another as well. Well...truth be known, maybe two more ... oh what to do with this addiction. Crochet! And that's what we do. Should we start our own support group?

Isn't it great to make things ourself that we'd love to have! It's also my reason to learn to crochet! He he... Yours turned out so beautiful, can't wait to see it all finished!
