Good luck and hope you are feeling better.
Stop it. Take a deep breathe. Put all project in a back closet except your favorite one. Or the one you want finished the most. You know which one I'm talking about. Take another deep breathe. Breathe in and breathe out. Let it go. Now, don't you feel better. I know you will feel better after another shot tomorrow. Just take it slow today. Let it go. We will get them all done one of these days. Are you breathing again.......
Oh my.. unfinished projects makes you.. ::gasp::.. normal! I have tons of them myself! My pillow only has one side done, my flower shawl is 1/3 done.. my ripple isn't done.. but I have it over my leather chair anyway.. the granny square isn't done.. ((hugs)), Teresa :-)
Sending you a ((hug)) that the meds will work and make you feel better. :)Don't be so hard on yourself about your UFO's....all of us out here have more than we confess to...I refuse to count mine, refuse I tell you! Besides, what are a few UFO's between friends anyway! :)Hope you get to feeling better soon and that your weekend is super awesome!
Oh heck Pammy Sue, don't be disgusted! It is what us creative type folks do. We create, and then we create more, and more and more. You are not alone my friend! Crossing my fingers that your procedure goes well tomorrow!!!XO Kris
Teresa's right! You're normal! Hope your meds have you feeling right as rain real soon.
The starting of a project is TONS more fun that finishing one!!! I spent all day yesterday using my laptop to map out the color layout and square composition of a project I'll probably never even start! But I had a blast doing it! That's why we do this crafty stuff anyway. Hang in there. Hope you get some relief from your shot tomorrow.
Having a bad back puts your whole nervous system on edge and makes it hard for you to settle. Step back from it all, you'll be better after your treatment ( I hope ).Cheers from Downunder
I understand how you feel. I have six WIPs and 2 UFOs haunting me. Just relax; you'll get them down. You're a normal crocheter. Good luck with your procedure tomorrow; I hope you feel better when it's over.Blessings,Kate
I think you're just like the rest of us crocheters Pammy Sue so don't be so hard on yourself. I keep finding UFOs all over the place in the most unexpected places and most of them don't even have the patterns with them and so they get frogged. Its so hard to resist starting something when you see a nice pattern - well, that's how I am anyway and I'm sure there'd be heaps more crocheters like that. Hope the injection works well for you. Big hugs xoxox
I hope you have a relaxing weekend ahead! Then look forward to your post again!! :)Hugs, xx
I am impressed by all the projects you complete!!
Aww PS...it's ok. That says that you fit in with the rest of us UFO peeps. :o)Seriously...you don't even wanna know how many are lurking about in my colorcoded tubs. lol. I have purple grannies from 3 years ago that I started for a blankie for my sister. Yea, that's weighing on my mind too. But ya know what? Can't take it with us when we're gone. Just think of someone else picking up your UFO and imagining who's loving hands started that beautifully crafted item!! :o) Don't worry...we definitely won't hold it against you...at least I won't!! Those of us who have them are the last ones to judge you on yours. The only thing that I personally don't like about ufo's?? If you didn't stick something with it telling you the hook size you were working with at the time and the pattern then you pretty much have to wing it or frog it. Hope your injection helps. I need another one too. xoxo
You'll feel better about everything once you get your treatment. When you are in pain nothing seems to be going right. I'm so behind with stuff too. We all are.
Unfinished projects just make you kin to the majority of the rest of us. I can identify, and attribute it to wanting to do all things and only having 2 hands. Just pull out 1 or 2 and alternate so you don't get bored, that's what I do. Most times it works for me and things do get finished. Complete one and pull another out so once again you are working on two so as not to be bored again. I keep buying patterns and yes, I have tons of yarn and kits and a mega amount of material stashed in totes in the closet and under 2 big beds. Call it what you want, an addiction/sickness/craziness....it is a madness I can live with. You could be my sista! LOLHang in there, Pammy girl, hope your shot of steroid helps ya feel better.Susanne :)
