Shit-Fit Shawl

GAH!
I nearly had a shit-fit when I saw this shawl a few minutes ago on Ravelry.  I'm in love with it.  I may have to take a break from the flowers and take a couple of days to make this.  I REALLY love it.  I'll have to keep my fingers crossed that H.L. will have 5 skeins of this yarn available.  I think I'm going to throw on a bra and some shoes and go NOW.  Cuz that's how I am.  If I waited until tomorrow, I'd be like, eh, whatever.  LOL.

I guess I should give you the credits for this photo and all.  This picture and shawl belongs to Sunriseknits on Ravelry HERE.  The free pattern is HERE.

Now I'm off to H.L. to grab that yarn!  Wish me luck!

Update:  No such luck.  They didn't have it.  They don't even have it online.  Boo!

Update to update:  Found it at Joann's online.  Ordered it.

May have to settle on a shrugg . . then I need to find a black, cream yarn . . decisions, decisions . . lolol

  9. No.......don't break from the flowers. Please, please, please, I know you will have a hard time going back...please, please, please....OK... who am I....I found my hook, did two stitches and couldn't sit still. We were without power here most of the night. High winds but no storm. Very weird. Ok, the long weekend begins. It's a four day-er and iced off with my Mom's b-day tomorrow. Still have to find a gift. Cool Shawl and yarn.

  19. My mind's eye sees a woman throwing on her bra and slipping on a pair of flip flops and yelling, "Where on earth are the damned car keys?", jumping in her car and speeding away to HL with a trail of dust in her wake. Drats! The yarn-aholic can't find the yarn and gets the shakes, lol......I am so glad you found it online. There is nothing worse than a crocheter who needs her fix.....
Happy Holiday weekend, oh yeah, that shawl is stunning.
