Inspiration

Do you crocheters out there need some inspiration?  Well, I'm here to hopefully provide that for you this week.  At least I hope so!

Look through these before you go clicking the links and leave me.  You must leave me some love in the comments.  I love hearing from all of you.  It makes my day to read your comments even if it's just a quick hello.

Look at these pretty things you could be making:
It's really pretty, you can use scraps, and the pattern is FREE!  No excuses!  This one was made by CrocheterAmanda and posted on Crochetville HERE.  The free pattern pdf is HERE.

And then there's this...
This is one of the prettiest Log Cabin Afghans I have seen.  These colors are great together.  I would have never thought of them myself.  Found this picture on Crochetville HERE.  The FREE pattern link is there.

Or what about this...
This was made by Crochetbug13 found HERE.  It's also a FREE pattern.  Follow the link she gives to the pattern.  It reminds me of the Groovy Ghan that is so popular right now.

Or this...
Pretty BRIGHT granny squares!  You can do that without a pattern!  Come on, girls (and guys)!  Get those juices flowing.  Just a couple of squares a day will get you started.  This one belongs to StripeyMonkey on Ravelry.

Just look at this sweet daisy blanket made by Angelfee.  Bunny Mummy has a great tutorial for a blanket like this on her blog HERE.

Look at the pretty blue one:
Made by Priscilla.  Go to her blog HERE and see all of her amazing afghans.  She's got some gorgeous ones.

Is that enough?
Did anything catch your eye or your heart?

More?  Okay...
Everybody needs a RED granny blanket.
EVERYBODY!
It doesn't matter if it doesn't match anything you have.
You've gotta have one.
This one is by HardDaysKnit on Ravelry.

And...
This one is by Andamento.
She says it's "garish."
I say it's gorgeous!

Okay, I'm done.
I hope you enjoyed today's presentation.
You crocheters out there are AMAZING!

Greetings here's a comment for you ;). I do NOT need inspiration. I need help in narrowing my choices down. My computer's hard drive is chock full of patterns and all the membership sites that allow you to have a "library" are full of my pattern selections too. I need help, lots of help;)

WOW! I love the last two. I never thought to do a granny square one in red. And the colors of the last one are awesome. Not garish at all when you are a color lover like me :) Thanks for posting the pics :)

They are all gorgeous Pammy Sue! I have been admiring Priscilla's on her blog! So much wonderful inspiration out there. When I finish my bobble, and I am almost done, then I am going to make a bath mat in the same bobble stitch, using cotton.
: ) Hugs,
Kris

Yum, Pammy Sue...all so delicious looking.

Now the log cabin really interests me and I thank you for the pattern link. I love quilts but have no patience with sewing so this is a great alternative.

Isn't the daisy one gorgeous? In the fall I plan to make the blue one for myself and a pink or lavender for my grand-daughter.

You know I love crocheting afghans more than anything else but now I have given one to everyone I know plus charity donations. This week I decided to start making them for myself and then just stacking the finished ones on a chest in the guest room. What a nice view for company but also seeing them at a glance will be very satisfying.

Great great inspirations...I loved seeing every one of them.
Your a gem..

Thanks for the pretty inspiration photos (and links)!

Well, here I am saying hello Pammy Sue. Love the log cabin ghan but they're all beautiful with one exception (for me anyway) .. won't say which one as I don't want to offend anyone. You've been finding some very pretty things - that purple poncho yesterday was beautiful. Have a nice day xoxoxox

My flower blanket has hit a snag..I went to get more of the background color yesterday and its gone ! Walmart clearanced them out !!!! So I came home after 2 stores and googled and can't find it. I am going to Hobby Lobby today and see if they have it or a color similar ..If not I guess I will be taking off all the aqua to replace it ! UUGHH. Hope your blanket is growing :)

Pammy Sue, shame on you! I keep telling myself I am about burned out on yarn for now and want to pull out my sewing machine and sew, then gosh darn it, you post all these pretties and I want to grab up my crochet hook and start another blanket. It would be so hard to choose which one is the prettiest, but I am partial to scrappy things and several of these would be perfect for using up the stash of left overs. Thank you so much for sharing these.
Have a great weekend! (((HUGS))) Susanne :)
