Flowery Progress

Here's a little peek at what the background and joining looks like on my blanket.  The black and brown kind of mutes the bright colors of  the flowers a little.  Not sure how I feel about that, but I definitely did not want white or even off-white this time.

If you didn't see the bottom of my entry yesterday, I updated it to say that the video link with the joining instructions that I emailed is not the one I am using.  Sorry about that.  I'll have to find this one and post the link for you.

If you've emailed me and haven't had a response, I must have missed it so email me again.

This is a LOT of work, but it's FUN work!
Bye!

  1. That is really lovely, Pam! I like the way the black makes the flowers pop above the background. And that join is great! I used a similar one recently and it was so easy!

I don't have any idea which colors I'll be using when I make this blanket, but I know I'll have fun with it. Thanks again :)

    Happy crocheting, Pam!

  2. I disagree about the black and brown muting the colors. I think they pop. This is looking fabulous, Pammy Sue.

  18. I've been visiting you while we were traveling but it's not as easy posting comments on my iPhone. Easy to make mistakes in my comments and hard to correct them. So I've been more of a lurker lately. Anyways I love this flower throw. It's a beauty! It's colorful but different with the darker sections. Excellent pattern and design choice Pammy Sue!

  19. I Love this joining much better than the pattern calls for. Your doing an awesome job with your blanket. Your making me drool with all the bright, gorgeous colors too. Remember, you said something about a pillow to match, so that will keep you going with this fabulous style! Round ones, square ones....go woman!
