Dallas Area Tornados

We are fine.  The Captain was at work and I was here with the dogs.  We are in the NE part of the Dallas metroplex, and all the bad stuff was south of us.  All I got here was hard rain.  Where the Captain works in Plano, it wasn't bad either.  We feel very lucky.  What a mess everywhere!

  14. How scary for you! Glad to hear you are okay. We had decent weather here in Ohio yesterday, a bit nippy, but couldn't complain. We get tornado watches and warning a lot in NW Ohio. Several years ago we a real doosy about 3 miles down the road. The roar was terrifying, we were on the back porch when we heard it and ran down to the basement. The scariest part was seeing where it hit....it took down the old farm house where we use to live, it had 3 rows of brick that all fell into the basement. Had we still lived there we would have been home and surely died. The people we sold it to were not home at the time, thank God!

  17. Wow, Pam. I came by your blog yesterday after work quickly before dance class and so glad you posted. Then last nite in the news I saw just how bad it was and if I hadn't known you all were ok, I would have been worried for sure. My daughter is living in Austin now and knew she wasn't near the disaster but knew you were close. On a happy note, I love...love...love your lacy looking pillows. You are so inspirational! Be well, buddy!
