Hats for Everyone

I made both of these last evening.  They were both very quick to make.

Shaun's Hat

This hat is for my son, Shaun, but I don’t have a male model.  It’s Deborah Norville Yarn in Lava.  Mostly hdc stitches and a size J hook.  Free pattern: HERE  Beware…the pdf is 31 MB…it’s huge!

Another one for Harper.  The flower & trim are made with Stylecraft DK yarn.  I love that orangie color.  The white is Deborah Norville.  Flower pattern: HERE

Huddled in front of the fireplace this morning.

  1. Great hats, especially like the flower. The little ones look adorable.

  2. Those look fun. Glad to see a simple project going. Hey, and best yet, it seems like Ollie is one to the gang and is fitting right in and found his warm spot.

  3. Your "pups" look so happy and content together. Great hats, I love the flower on Harper's hat. Thanks for sharing the patterns. Have a great weekend Pammy Sue. :-)

  4. Awwww. Love that pic of Ollie and Fletch! Are they regular buds?

Love the hats too. Not sure that I can download that big of a file here at work or not. Wonder why it's so huge?

Hope you have a great weekend Pammy Sue!
PS/those patterns I told you about? I have them on my thumb drive at home. I haven't forgotten...I just need to grab it.

  5. Is that one for the baby modeled on a toilet paper roll? You are a genius, Pam!

Are you feeling better? I sure hope so.

  6. Are your two babies as close as they have looked in their pictures?

  7. LoooOOOOoooove both hats.. but especially that baby girl one for Harper. Busy day for me.. dinner party in 4 hours.. so much to do! Eek!
    *M*E*R*R*Y* *C*H*R*I*S*T*M*A*S*!*

  8. Awwww, the huddlers! I love when mine do that! Hey...I'm laughing at your comment about making one shoe and not another. Can I tell you how many onesies I have in this house? I'll make the one, get frustrated/bored/distracted and never do the other! Dammit! But these slippers were different. Two strands of yarn together...they don't start with the chain that you have to work down both sides...they start with a circular toe piece. I swear...I did them BOTH in about two hours. Anyway, if I tell much more - I'll be telling the pattern and then the author will get mad at me! You're right on the bow! Great suggestion! I think I have one that I already downloaded! Thanks for the offer to share though! BTW, I love the "wiggle butt" in your header. Makes me giggle every time I come to your blog! Hugs, Annette
