Spaghetti Sauce, Chairs, & Hair

This picture may leave a little to be desired, but the recipe did not.  It may just be the best spaghetti sauce I’ve ever made.  You can find the recipe HERE.  The only thing I didn’t use were the beef bouillon cubes.  I added about 1-1/2 tsp salt instead.  I had the meat browned and everything in the crock pot by 10:00am and let it go on low until 7pm.  Delish!

We had our new chairs delivered today.  Mine is the one that Sammi is laying on.  (You can see how well our no-dogs-on-the-furniture rule works in our house.)  It’s my new crochet chair.  The Salvation Army is coming to pick up our old loveseat next week.

And finally…

Here’s a peek at my new short hair.  I’m loving it.

Thanks for all of your sweet comments on The Big Chill!  I’ve been looking through patterns trying to decide on something new.  In the meantime, I got out an old WIP to work on.  Would be nice if I could finish it.

Have a good weekend!

  1. You know I love your new hair. It's P.C. know what I mean by that. I so need to get a new chair too. My is going to be like the one on Frasier soon, all taped together. I'm going to have to make some spag sauce in my crocker soon. I have never done it that way before, always on the cooktop, but this is worth a good try. Glad you posted, I have been scouting for you all day. You two have a great weekend, we will be around too. Hope it's finally cooling off enough for you to get out and about.

  2. When I read the title I expected to read some dog hair in the food ;-)

  3. Love your hair! I'm going to have to do that someday. "Sgetti" looks yummy! Boy, that chair looks comfy. I love my easy chair..

Have a super weekend!! ((hugs)), Teresa :-)

  4. Love the haircut! Very nice. =)

I'm going to check out the recipe--anything in the crock pot earns points in my book.

Hope you love your new crocheting chair!

  5. I like your chairs and love your hair cut! Spaghetti sauce....while it sounds good we really love the baked spaghetti recipe you shared awhile back. It is the only spaghetti recipe I will fix now. Not even temped to try anything new!

  6. Love, love, love the haircut! It really suits you. PERFECTAMUNDO, my friend.

I also really like your new chairs and hope it inspires you greatly when you sit down to crochet in it.

  7. WOW!...on both counts...chairs and haircut! I'm loving both!! :-) And wouldn't mind having some spaghetti right now either...but it's 'Date Night' for us. Goodies will be had! ^_^

  12. Great Haircut Pammy! Short hair looks great on some people but I hate the way it looks on me. Much easier to take care of though.

  13. Pammy Sue: Love your hair! I need a chair like that, looks so comfy! Hope you had a great weekend!

  14. I love your hair! I am not brave enough to get mine cut that short but I'm sure it will happen one day when I least expect it. :o) And the sketti sauce looks marvelous. I haven't made sketti sauce in forever!

    I'm catching up again.......

  15. Geeze...I commented on your new baby and it probably didn't save because I wasn't signed in......dag nab it. I love your baby. He's so precious. He looks like a Paco. :o) I've never seen a white chihuahua, you know I'm partial to white right? :o) JRT's are mostly white.
