Valentine Granny Pillow

Do y’all remember my

Valentine Granny Blanket?

Valentine Granny A

I gave it to one of my sisters and she asked for a pillow to match it months ago.  It took me forever to get my ass in gear, but I finally made one for her this weekend.  It’s made with the same yarns I used for the blanket.  She wanted one with the flowers on it, but I could never get motivated to make one so decided on this:

I hope she likes it and isn’t disappointed that it’s not flowers.  I still may make the flower one one day too.  I made three different edgings for this pillow but kept ripping them out because they just weren’t what I wanted.  I went with a plain white ruffle, and I love it.

So that was my crochet for the weekend.  I didn’t work on anything else.

Time to get to work.  Bye.

  5. L-O-V-E it! And since I'm relatively new to your blog, I'd never seen the blanket before now...wow...that is Gorgeous (with a capital G!). I haven't ventured into a project of that magnitude..yet. I'm kind of an instant gratification being...but my envy of all the beautiful blankets I see around blogland will eventually drive me to take the plunge! Getting back to your pillow...I especially like that ruffled edge! It's all in the details, isn't it? Annette

  7. Your pillow looks lovely and it goes great with the blanket. I have not been crocheting much, but have to really get back into a routine of crocheting something every day - soon we'll be facing Christmas and I will have nothing done if I don't get in gear now!

    Have a wonderful week :-)

Yesterday got away from me and so will today probably. I think I forgot how to be a travel agent or maybe it's that I'm just to pickie about what we do....I'm sure it's the later.
