That sounds funny, even though I'm sure it wasn't for you - what you could do till you can crochet again, go to You Tube and watch a few crochet tutorials so at least you can watch someone crochet....I do that with cooking shows. I don't cook much anymore, but I still enjoy watching other people cook...just a thought!
