New Chroma Yarn

DSCF2790

I was crossing my fingers that this yarn was going to be softer than Noro, and it definitely is.  It’s so soft!  And gorgeous.  This is Knit Picks Chroma Yarn.  I got the worsted weight in Smoothie and Sunrise.  I plan to mix the two colors in a Granny Square Blanket much like the one below:

Noro Granny

I saved this picture a long time ago, and I have no idea who to give the credit to.  I just tried to find it again with no luck.  Oh well.  Who knows when I’ll get around to starting it because I have too many things already on my plate, but I’ll have the yarn when I’m ready.

That’s it.  I’ve got nothing funny or amusing to say.  Just have a great weekend, okay?

I hope you all are safe and sound from the earthquakes and Tsunamis.  Take care.

What beautiful yarns! Your blanket will be lovely!
My Emily is heading home today from Daytona Beach Florida & the Baby Annie is grasping at the last few moments of Texas sun in Padre Island before heading home tomorrow evening.
I will breathe once they are home safe & sound♥
Weekend blessings back at you!

Phew... I did follow you the other day and ordered some too. But, I went with some of the greens and blues. Now we can work on this together. But, I don't think mine will get here till Monday. Boo-Hoo.

That blanket looks totally cool.
I'll be around most of the weekend too. Probably out to dinner tonight. We finally reach 48 today, time to get out the lawn chairs. Yipeeeeeeee.

What a treat, Pammy Sue, that yarn looks absolutely yummy! I like your new blog look, but where are those cute little dogs?!
P.S. Just noticed you're now following...one can't miss the 'cool chick with the Jackie-O glasses" xx

It looks so nice and soft. If only I had a use for it, but I have been known to steal yarn from my grandma only so i can squeeze something soft. Aside from another human being.

Oooh, nice! I have a ball of Sunrise, but not Smoothie. Want, want, want! That's going to make a gorgeous granny blanket. I'll be starting my Chameleon blanket with Chroma this weekend once I finish my Flower Bed CAL piece.
