Lamp Shade Cover

DSCF2784

It’s held on straight with yellow-headed pins right now.  you can see them in these pictures.  I’m not going to glue it on until I make another one with a tighter weave in the pattern to see if I like it better.

That’s all I’ve got for you today.

Ho-Hum.

  1. This is cute - where did you find the pattern? I've been wanting to make something like this for my boring lampshade, but I think I will make it with thread instead of yarn...but, I may change my mind again...I like the way yours turned out!

  3. Very cool. Is this from a pattern or an original creation?

  4. This is cute! Nice way to dress up a rather plain lampshade. I'm up in the middle of the night cause I had trouble sleeping but I better try getting back to bed so I'm not a zombie tomorrow.

  10. Interesting . . . . I've seen pattern for shades but never seen one finished.
What type of yarn will you use to tighten up the openings? Or are you the kind of crocheter who can go to thread and adapt the pattern? Hum . . . wonder what it would look like made from thread? Hum? ? ?
