Warning: Big Fat Boring Blog Post Ahead

Hello, Bloggie Friends!

I'm nearly finished with the V-stitch blanket already.  I could have finished it last night, but I decided to not rush through it.  I still have bunches of ends to weave-in and the lacy border to crochet.  I don't think it's going to be one of my favorites, but I do like it.  The best thing is how quickly it crochets up.  We're talking days here instead of weeks like usual.  Pictures and the pattern will be posted by the end of the week, I'm sure!

I'm not even going to mention that the Texas Rangers played terrible baseball in the World Series, but they did.  It was fun watching them anyway.

I just heard some loud thunder!  It's my favorite kind of day today...completely overcast, chilly, and wet.  I really do love it.

I don't have anything much else to say.  Just thought I'd pop in and post a little something since I've not been around every day lately as usual.

  1. Well you did forget to mention that today is a VERY special day indeed!!!!

  2. Happy Birthday!!! I read the posts after I commented on your last post. Kicked myself...as usual. :o) It's overcast, chilly but not wet yet. I guess I didn't watch the weather last night cuz I had no clue, but come to think of it I was on skype with my daughter last night so I did miss it. I can't wait to see your pattern. I may have to make me a couple up. I have a LOT of stash I need to get used up. Plus if they make up that quick I can finish my Christmas up. Enjoy the rest of your day...hope there's cake in it somewhere. ;o) xoxox

  3. Anonymous9:31 AM

even though i emailed and called I still was say happy birthday baby. BP

  4. Oh, that's what's spurred on the melancholy-HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. I replied to your comment about the brownies but I don't know if you got it so I'm replying here too. I checked the recipe and yep it was 1 tsp cocoa powder but I guess you could add more if you wanted to - I don't reckon it would hurt. I'm guessing in the recipe the cocoa is more for colour than taste but yeah go for it and add more - it'll give them a nice chocolatey coffee taste. Happy birthday too!

  6. HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU, DEAR PAMMY SUE and may you have many more!

  7. Happy Birthday Pammie Sue! Hope you have a great, snuggly day!

New goal....55. That way you can get the senior discount at the movies! tee hee!

  9. BIG BIRTHDAY WISHES, Sweetie. Hope you are enjoying your day inside.

Not much here other than... call me Chicken Little. I bolted out of the chair this morning in a panic attack. Haven't had one of those in years. Guess we are going to have to reschedule when Scott can drive me home after a Xanax... I feel really really stupid now and am beating myself up. Ok, enough of my grumbling.

Sure hope Barney has somthing fun planned ahead.

I'm in the same boat on the V-Stitcher. Love it, but not my fav. It does go so quickly.

How many candles was it again?

  10. Oooooops, I may have let it slip to a few key friends that TODAY is YOUR DAY.....

  11. Happy Birthday Pammy Sue. I don't think we've actually met, but we have some of the same blogger buddies....TH & The Queen.

    PS - I totally can relate to not finishing the WIP's and starting something new. On Sunday, I committed to finishing every WIP I have before starting something new, and on Monday, I started locker hooking a rug {sigh}
