Thank You

I want to say thank you to everyone for the happy birthday wishes.  I wasn't going to mention my birthday, but I hear a little birdie was running around telling secrets!  It was the BIG FIVE-O for me...yikes!  But I did enjoy reading all of your messages and had a really nice birthday.

I have b-day pictures to post soon.  I can't take the time to post them now, but I'll be back to do that later today or tomorrow.

I woke up with a sore throat this morning.  I'm hoping I just slept with my mouth hanging open (sexy!) and dried it out and it's not some horrible cold or virus.  I just turned down a flu shot the other day, so I hope that's not coming back to bite me already.

See ya.

  2. Yeap.... You got it... I was that little birdie...eeks...You know my nickname in H.S. was Birdie Bell. Named so by my Chemistry teacher, as I just chirped away all day in lab class.

Sorry to hear about the sore throat. But, glad to hear you passed on the shot. I don't get one as my brother who works with a lot of docs, knows what goes into them. Scott is mandated at the hospital, so he does.

Lay low today and think about your next project. Just ordered lots of Blues/Denim-ie. Hope to get a picture off to you today of...you know what.

Remember it was just not your birthday, but it's your "WHOLE BIRTHDAY WEEK". After 50, you get to call the shots for the whole week. Well, at least that's my rule.

    Off to snap a few,
    Kate

  3. Missed your birthday yesterday--so sorry! As a 53 year old woman I know we get sexier as we get older--gray hair, wrinkles, sagging bosom so that the rose bud tattoo is now a long stemmed rose! LOL! It's not that bad (except for the tattoo!) :)

  6. Not even middle-age yet ;p we know you'll live forever. So do you know the answer to that annoying question 'what do you want to be when you grow-up?'
I can't figure it out yet - still waiting to grow up *hee*

  9. 50! Then you get to celebrate all year! That's what we do in our family, right after we get back from a family party in Vegas. For the sore throat, a teaspoon of honey should help it feel better. And keep your mouth closed while you sleep for crying out loud --- ewwww --- don't need that visual! (and you complain I show you my feet!) Love the Good & Plenty blankey. Hmmmm I wonder if I could make one that looks like Reese Cups....
