Sunday Giveaway

I made a new crochet bird this morning to go inside the little birdcage I bought at the antique mall yesterday.  This is 4th birdcage I have above my cabinets in the kitchen, and it's the smallest.  I think I just need one more before people start calling me crazy birdcage lady.  To give you an idea how small the cage is, the body of that bird is just three rounds of dc in a circle folded in half.  I made his little legs and eyes with wooden beads this time instead of crocheting them.  I had better pictures of him outside the cage, but I accidentally deleted them from my camera before I had uploaded them.  Duh.  I was sick of messing with it at that point and just took some new ones of him all settled in his new home.  I have a couple of crocheted flowers to add to his cage, but I'll do that later.

I made another tissue box cover yesterday, but it's fugly…

Do you want it?  Especially for my Sunday readers…leave me a comment on this post before midnight tonight (Central Time, US), and I’ll draw a winner in the morning.  Maybe these colors will suit somebody.

Wanna see something pretty?

Okay…

The picture came from HERE.  She made them.  Aren’t they pretty?  I want some!  Her etsy shop is HERE.  Too bad she’s in Australia or I’d order some.  Yes, I’m lazy and would rather not have to make them myself!  But I guess I will.  Sigh.  Another thing on the to-do list.

Have a Fab Sunday evening.

  1. I think the tissue box cover would look really great in a girls room. I have two girls, HINT HINT! ;-} I like the bunting too and am probably going to make a Christmas one to hang in my classroom. I hope you are having a great weekend!

  3. Oh Pammy it's so cute, can I have it? Huh Can I? I'll even swap ya something for it if you like. I love the colors in it and haven't had any time lately to make one. Whoever gets it sure is lucky- I don't think it's ugly at all.

  4. I must say I really like the atmosphere created by your new header and all. It is soothing and relaxing
and easy to read. The bunting is gorgeous. Oh I don't know Pam, a few here and there and you'll have it done in no time. The Queen's got herself totally amazed by Lucy's latest comment numbers.

  5. I am sitting here laughing . . .your kleenex cover is blueberry ice cream with strawberries and hot "fugly" poured over the top.

  8. LOLOL . . yes I know what Fugly is . . but I still think this looks like a raspberry/blueberry Sundae with strawberries and Hot Fudge Sauce. Hot Fugly sauce wouldn't be appropriate.
