Quick Hello and...

Ya'll go visit Paula and fill out the form for her giveaway.  I won one of her thick and plush Christmas potholders last time and am trying to win another one to keep it company.  You can enter once every day until next Saturday.  A little tip...write down your order of preference on the gifts before going to the form, and then keep it handy for the next day when you enter again.

I found an afghan pattern yesterday that I really love.  It's called Stained Glass Magic on Ravelry, but the pattern is not free there.  You can find a free pattern for the same thing HERE.  I'm not using magic balls to make it because I can't find mine.  I made a big box of magic balls about a year ago, and I can't find the box now!  I've looked high and low.  I must have given them away or something and just don't remember.

I have a full day's work plus some so I have to get going.  No daytime crocheting for me today.  Or tomorrow.  Ugh.

  1. A big THANK YOU to my personal "PR" person.

I am so glad you like the potholder . . . I have fallen in love with them and make them for everyone on every occasion. I really like how they soften up and still are just as usable. We have one that has gotten burnt on one edge and it is still holding up . . . 4 years after the "big burn." LOLOL

  2. Wow! That Stained Glass Magic afghan looks like a lot of work!

Ha! I'm always putting something away and then can't find it again. Happens waaaaay to often.

  3. I really like the stained glass afghan pattern. Each one would look different based on the colors chosen. Good luck finding your missing box of yarn. Have a great day! :-)

  4. Welcome to the club, Pammy- I'm so beat from working nonstop middle of the day and getting nothing done- no crochet time either- I can't even move. Hopefully we'll both get a few days rest soon.

  5. Very pretty pattern! Free is good too :)Thanks for the link.
Sorry your crochet time is limited now, mine too--off to the dentist UGH!

  6. Nice pattern! Thanks so much for the link. Good luck with yours.
    Caz :)
