  1. You deserve whatever your heart desires. And at 50 I find that it is the little things, like your slippers, and button dishes, that makes my heart sing!
Is that a Tat? Guess where mine is?

  2. Really good finds Pammy Sue. I just bought slippers today but really cheap ones since it nagged at me that I really ought to be crocheting some.
    Have a great weekend.

  6. Hope you got everything you wished for... and then some!

I am so in love with your most recent candy afghan that I have started my own. Lets only hope I finish it... but I got quite a good start on it tonight.

We shall call her confetti cupcake with sprinkles.

    Inspired by my favorite Texan...

Photos will come soon. Gotta get through my weekend.

  7. Oh my gosh, that Avoca website.. Such CUTE things, I HAD to get out of there fast! I don't have any birthday money yet.. Mine's in December!.. My skin (and what all ELSE!) is going through the changes though, and it has definitely gotten dryer, round the nose and forehead especially. I'll have to try the Garnier Gel out, soon as I can get some!... LOVE those slippers! Have a great weekend! ~tina

  8. Oh,me,Oh,my... how I want those dishes. Off to have a look to see if I can snatch some up. I want to be just like you when I grow up.

By the way, you are styling in those new slips.

Off to find a border I like, going to have a look again at yours.

  10. Hi Pammy, wonderful gifts you got for yourself-you go girl! Adorable china! Are the buttons on 'em decals of pictures of real buttons? I can't see it well enough in the photos. So you've joined the 50 going on 40 crowd. Welcome. I looove your "Good and Plenty" blanket, so aptly named. Several posts ago I saw the Good and Plenty box in the pix of your work space and thought geez, I haven't had any of those for ages, I love licorice and so got some and now I have 'em next to me while I'm crocheting, truly a bit of heaven. Have a super prosperous wknd to my fav speedy crocheter/hooker, hee hee.

  11. Oh how fun that you got the buttons dishes! I remember you showing them to me a while back. Sometimes you just gotta have something, huh? We sisters all got the "dish hog" gene.
