Hmm…

DSCF2011
I started this blanket last night.  I wanted some deep blues and greens, like the sea.  I like the colors and all, but there’s something about it that’s not grabbing me today.  I was just looking at a graph for the Catherine’s Wheel pattern and I think I might want to try it.  Maybe I should just do a scarf instead of an entire blanket because the pattern looks better when done in sock weight yarn (IMO).  I don’t know.  I’m just thinking out loud.  I hate not feeling committed to anything.  Maybe I just need a nap.

  1. Hi Pammy Sue,

I frogged two projects already this weekend! Sometimes it is the yarn that doesn't work with the pattern. I love the Catherine's Wheel too and want to try it but read it was a wool eater. That's not a problem if you have enough yarn obviously but depends on what your'e doing. I do like the colors. You'll know what to do after your nap!

  6. Wonder what a Catherine's Wheel would look like if used as a stash buster? I think if I did a whole afghan with this stitch I would drive myself nuts. . . but I I know it would be warm.

  7. I like the colors...but YOU have to like them to make an entire blanket! I also love that Garnier gel lotion...at least I think I do. I want to go and get some. Target?

BTW how big is your sweet papillon, Eli? Our little Pearl is quite small...4 lbs! Is your sweet puppy a barker? Pearl is!
