Buttercream Blanky

Thought I'd show you my progress on the solid V-stitch blanket.  Her Magesty, the Queen, came up with the perfect name for it.  It does look a lot like buttercream frosting!  It's so soft and silky too.  I don't know why I've never made an entire blanket with Caron Simply Soft before.  It's yummy.

  1. Hmmm..I have seen that brand, and it always looks like it would separate alot..but i am going to give it a try. What stitch is that on your Buttercream Blanket?

Looking good. But, what is that stack I see on the right...

  3. I'm not one for all one color like that but that is really gorgeous. It is butter creamy isn't it? I love the Caron softy yarns. I have to watch myself when I go in the store. I've actually banned myself from going into the yarn section because if I do go I will certainly walk out with at least a skein or two. (Usually more!) xoxo

  5. That is so pretty! I love Caron Simply Soft yarn! I've made two throws with it and they are so soft and comfortable. And it doesn't split...I found it easy to crochet. Our local Michaels use to carry lots of colors but recently they cut back and have only a few. Darn!
