Uh-Oh

I HATE IT!

I do not like it one bit.  It's ugly.  I'm going to sew these together and give it to the dogs for a blanket.  I don't like that you can't see the cabled pattern of the circles, and I just think the colors are hideous.  DAMMIT!  I should have stuck with what I knew I wanted, which was to use the Noro yarn for this pattern.  I hate it when a plan does not come together.  But I suppose I'm glad I found out I hate it now before I made all 80 circles.

*Heavy Sigh*

I've decided that my blog is too crapped up.  There's too much going on.  So....

Do not be alarmed if you try to come here in the next couple of days and my site is down.  I'm going to be working on it and changing things up.  Are you excited?  Okay, well, I guess it's just me then.

  1. Of course we're excited! Can't see what you do. Maybe it will inspire me too. I'm sorry about the blanket but I know what you mean. When there is detail going on you definitely want it to show. Otherwise you'd do just plain old circles, right?

  2. Awww...That's too bad that it didn't turn out the way you pictured it. We creative types have to deal with that one pretty often huh?

You're going to redecorate your blog? Cool! I look forward to seeing what you come up with!

Me? I'm off to Costco pharmacy this morning and then it's bunco tonight. Between those two things, I'm sanding an old window that I'm planning to mosaic and studying my transcription materials.

  3. Pammy Sue - it is not ugly! I think the circles really stand out, maybe its the variegated colors throwing things off. Regardless, I'm certain your four-legged family members will love it. Especially it you tell them its "off limits". Enjoy this day.

  5. Wow...you were quite hard on yourself! I'm so sorry you were disappointed in your project. It's always hard when we spend so much time on something and it doesn't turn out the way we hoped. Regardless of your opinion...it really is nice! And yes...sometimes we need a change! Looking forward to your new creative and innovative blog!
