Lemon & Grapefruit & Lemon

The Giveaway packages went out in the mail early this morning.  They went via Media Mail so it will probably take several days to get there.  Anywho...be looking for yours in the mail if you were a winner!

I saw this new Haagen-Dazs ice cream advertised in one of my magazines a couple of weeks ago.  Five ingredients and nothing else.  The lemon one caught my eye, and I haven't stopped thinking about it since.  The first couple of places I looked for it didn't have it, but I found it this morning.  Oh my lord, it's better than I thought, and I thought it was gonna be great.  Num-num.  Creamy, milky, sweet, lemony lusciousness.  They also have coffee, vanilla, and a few other flavors.  I was only interested in the lemon.  I bet the coffee is good too.

Here's a picture of a piece of that coffee cake I made on Saturday.

I didn't make the Snickerdoodles yesterday.

And finally, a few of my favorite products.

1.  Psssssst Dry Shampoo.  You can get it for blonde or brunette hair.  I wish they had it for red hair, but the blonde works okay for me too.  I mostly like it because it adds so much volume to my hair.  I buy it at Ulta for about $7 bucks.  Not that I don't wash my hair when it needs it!

2.  Neutrogena Grapefruit Facial Cleaner.  Love it.  It smells great.  I use it every day.

3.  Softsoap Kitchen Fresh Hands in Lemon.  Makes your hands smell good and really lemony.  Seems I have a thing for citrus lately, huh?

A Crochet Note:  I started making that Japanese Bobble/Ripple shawl yesterday, but I didn't like the yarn I was using (Vanna's Choice).  It didn't look good so I ripped it all out.  I guess I'll be ordering some special yarn for it.  Probably a yarn of some kind from Nordic Mart.  I continue to be impressed with Nordic Mart.  They are so efficient and quick!

  2. I've been eyeing up that Nordic Yarn for a week now. I so, so want to try some. That's it, I'm heading over to place an order now. I seriously, like the last shawl and yarn. Don't use that Vanna stuff, save for the back of pillow or ripple....

I love anything citris. Oh, yeah, and cinnamon too. But, not to hot on the overly vanilla smell.

No, I'm not going anywhere. It was my way of venting, as I"m a little pissie at someone today. Indirect message and she will know. It's not anyone on the Crochet Council or this side of the pond for that matter.

We need to get some code names for a few... catch my drift....
