Crescent Moon Shawl

It's done!
My first crochet project using only a graph.
I'm so proud of myself.  Can you tell?
Woo-Hoo!
Go Me!

I'm please with the way it turned out and happy that I ordered and waited for this yarn to make it with.  I really love the colors in this yarn.  I would like to make another one in solid cream.  The ones I saw like that were really pretty too.

I haven't blocked it yet.  I wanted to get some pictures first in case it disintegrates in the wash.  If it looks all that different when I do, I'll take more pics.  I'm sure the flower fringe will straighten out quite a bit.  It was very windy when I took this picture so it was blowing around a lot.

This totally rocks. I'm so loven' this yarn. I know, like I need more yarn. So, how, was reading that Jap. pattern. Do you have the hang of it yet. Should I pick one out of my book to send you to translate. Ok, I'll wait. I'm thinking I'm going to make a new Rose Garden pillow with ArtQuest on the yarn for the lady who we bought the mirror from. There is something to be said for the fact that my Mom has bought a ton of stuff from her. She gave us a great deal, so I think she needs a pillow thanks.

Raining all day, but had doc appt any ways. Tried one of Elizabeth's Rose's. Fun.

Off to thaw Taco Soup for dinner tonight. What is better on a rainy evening. With PB and Js on the side. Yum.

I just love that flower fringe! This really turned out so pretty. It was hard for me to imagine that yarn made up. It's waaaaay prettier than what I could see before it was made up.

Hi Dear,

I'd like to crochet this pattern, but I just can't find it. Could you please help me, from where to buy it? Thanks a lot!

Rita, you can find the book on etsy.com. I’ve seen it there.

Here is a link to the book: http://www.etsy.com/listing/49390244/cape-shawl-stole-bolero-vol-2-japanese

It’s the one on the cover. It’s pretty in that cream color!

I hope you read this because I have no way to email you and the blog link in your name is very old and hasn't been updated since 2009.

Dear Pam,

Your message reached me, thank you for your kind and quick response.
Unfortunatelly, for just one pattert, that's a bit expensive me (including
the shipping cost too). Anyhow, thank you very much for your help!:)

Have a nice day!

Rita

ps:I try to send a mail to you. I don't know why, but always returned to the letters. (My english is not so good, sorry.:) )
