Happy New Year, Y'all

I'm in the midst of making a New Year's Day dinner for us and the boys. Here's the menu:

Baked Ham
Black-eyed Peas
Ramen Noodle Salad
Deviled Eggs
Broccoli Cornbread

That's it! Simple as can be. I don't know if both of the boys are even coming, but we're having the dinner anyway.

You'll notice there is no dessert with that evil sugar in it. Everyone will just have to suffer right along with me!

  2. Hey Sue -

It must be a NY southern tradition, black-eye peas. I don't even know if our stores carry them, let alone what aisle to look in. Icks, what do they taste like.

Now, about the ham and deviled eggs, I'll be right over. My favs.

Heading over to our friends to hang out with them for an evening. It's a tradition we started with them about 11 years ago. We do a sillie gift exchange. They are actually the one's who I did THE HORNEST'S Nest for. They dyed their yarn back last March.

Time to run for now. Scott's been working on getting the office back together all day.... I was booted out early. But had to check before we leave.

Have a nice dinner and I hope the boys show up.
