*Update* I'm back from the dentist and he didn't do anything. I'm going back in the morning to get that tooth extracted and another one fixed that also has the filling missing. Oh joy. But I'm alive for now.

I have a dentist appointment at 2:30. If you never hear from me again, I died from the fright or pain of it all. It's quite possible I will chicken out. Somebody please help meeeeeeeeee!

  1. Pammy, If ANYTHING hurts while the dentist is working on you, then find another dentist!... That's just my opinion, but it WORKS for ME! Dear Son and I were just laughing at your last entry!! Your hubby's Kitty sounds just like our Skyler (Dear Son's Cat)!!.. Good luck at the dentist. I'll say a prayer for ya. If they don't treat you RIGHT, I can't imagine I need to tell YOU how to tell them what they can do with their drill! (0;

  2. Oh poor Pammy, I am so sorry you are hurting. I hope he gets you all fixed up. Have him put in the metal studs so you can easily have a replacement tooth screwed in.

  3. Hey Girl!

    I knew you could do it... :-) Just put your big girl panties on and face the monster dental drill.
    * And I hate that drill. *

  4. Ever heard of SEDATION DENTISTRY?
    I swear that's how I'm going to go from now on. All you need is someone to give you a ride.

  5. I could feel your fear, and I totally and completely sympathize! I lost my two front teeth (permanent) on the very first day of first grade. Yep, I was the only kid in grade school with false teeth. I think it was all the trauma, drama, and dentist visits in those early years that turned me into the white-knuckled sissy pants I am today. I HATE going to the dentist and avoid the experience at all costs! In fact, I haven't been in at least 4 years, maybe longer. :)

    Anyway, I'm glad you survived. I, too, have heard about "sedation dentistry" and have wondered if it's all it's cracked up to be. Let me know if you pursue that option.

    And, I love the story about Kitty Bitch. If you looked through my blog at "Greyt Balls . . . ", you saw my entry about "Pup" the cat. He was so old when he passed away a few weeks ago, and I miss him terribly. My husband, who is NOT the animal lover in the family, especially not cats, was the one Pup always went to when we sat in the backyard. I think Pup thought he might one day change JC's mind about his aversion to cats. :)

    Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment.

    I went today for half of perio cleaning. Wasn't as bad as I thought, except for the 8 shots on one side of my mouth
