Brown Butter Frosting

As requested...

Brown Butter Frosting

1 stick of butter, salted (no substitutes)
4 cups powdered sugar, sifted
4 Tbsp milk
1 tsp vanilla extract

Place butter in a saucepan over medium-high heat. Cook, stirring constantly, until the butter turns brown. Be very careful that you don't burn the butter. You want it a caramel color, but not any darker. Remove from the heat and set aside. Slowly mix the browned butter, powdered sugar, 3 Tbsps of the milk, and vanilla with an electric mixer. Beat on high speed until light and fluffy, adding more milk until the consistency you want is achieved.
